OHIO ADOPTION LISTS were compiled by Mike Kaser from a wide variety of sources. The people and organiztions on the UNVERIFIED list may or may not be accurate. The VERIFIED list has been verified that the person or organization was rescuing that species or breed as of the last update. The SHELTER list is in generally better shape since shelters tend not to disappear although they sometimes get a new address or phone number.

PET RESCUE FORMS are adapted from the forms of several dog rescue organizations in the USA and contain sections which are, in my opinion, legally up to date. You may make any part of the form more specific by substituting your name (or incorporated name), address and phone numbers. For your legal safety, DO NOT generalize any part of these forms. Written contracts must be VERY specific.
